Capabilities of 3D Objects

I am in the process of updating some of our promotional documents. I'm wondering: 1. If it is possible in a 3D PDF to have tool tips over objects when the mouse is hovering over them? 2. If a customer clicks on an object in a 3D PDF, could we add that item to an order form automatically? I'm sure I ...

Re: Template file

I guess the trick is, it has to be in the folder:
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\SimLab\SimLab 3D PDF From Rhino 6\data\templates\General

If I try and run the exact same template file from a server location, I get completely different results.
\\lewisserver\Rhino_Tools

Thanks,

Template file

I am trying to update this template file to work with the latest plugin. These settings worked flawlessly in Rhino V5. When I try to use this file it does not work in the new Rhino Plug-in. I tried creating a new file with the same settings and it gives me completely different results. Any help? Tha...

WD MyCloud as licensing server?

I don't remember the process for setting up the licensing server, but our server is going to be replaced tomorrow with a Western Digital PR4100 My Cloud. Can this be setup as the licensing server? It does not have a Microsoft OS.

Re: Camera?

It does not appear to work that way from what I am seeing here, I had to create a new viewport to get the named view to show up in the list.

Camera?

Is there a way to add a camera to the export other than the 4 default cameras? I tried creating a named view but it does not show up in the list for camera's to export.

Thanks,
Don

Saving to a network?

When saving to my server (Western Digital DX4000, Windows Storage Server 2008) It does not open the file after it is generated like when I save it locally. Also, it does not always overwrite an existing file on the server, but there is no indication from the software that overwriting failed. Thanks,...
