Re: SimLab Composer 9.1 is now avaiable

When I tried to use the VR Viewer, it prompts to upgrade. I did that but it downloads the exe for Windows.. If I am using a Mac version, it should download the Mac viewer...

Hi Simlab.. Downloading now.. :D :D Great you made this announcement. Just a few points. In the past your graphics created in your website have been very nice.. However, this seems to have been lost with your latest release. Much of the text in very hard to see.. It also looks very bitty.. Not nice ...

Re: Texture Quality - Object Edges are not smooth (Round appears as octagon)

Perhaps reinstall the software.. That might bring it back. But the Tessellation option is not available for all objects. And I do not think you can go back to edit your settings after import. But we should be able to.. Perhaps a feature request..

Hi.. What format are you using.. DWGs might do that and particularly DXF.. Try IGES or STEP...

Re: Positioning a model in the landmark

Not really sure what you mean.. You can move any object within the 3D space.. If you like, double click on the face of the XYZ orientation cub. That will set the flat view. Then click on the Parent and use the Move Tool.. You can do that with any view..

Re: Linking objects for animation?

The error you are getting is when you try to put the part into itself.. Best thing to do is, click on the part/s, then right mouse, goto Change Parent then click on the main door part being the parent.. Then reset the pivot of that entire parent to the corner or the door or centre of the hinge pin.....
