Re: Ready for SimLab Composer 9?

Simlab 8 was over 1.5 G in size and version 9 is around 250 MB. Curious what changed to make such a drastic reduction in the size of the application. Nevermind... I should have posted after the installation. The material and model libraries are a separate download. Not necessarily a bad thing, just ...

Re: Which build versions do I have???

I'd like to know the answer to this as well... a release date or build number on the latest version available to download would sure clarify this.... gp - registered user Composer 6 Mechanical. BTW... I did download the latest version and looked under it's properties (right click) and under Details ...

Re: SimLab Composer 6

Got the email. I purchased SimLab Composer Simulation edition earlier this year... but I don't see the $99 upgrade offer reflected in the online shop... It says $150 till July. Is the email a mistake, or is there some other way to purchase the upgrade with the discount? Thanks

Re: Submit your model to the Gallerry to win a free upgrade

2 things... 1 - there was mention of a newsletter reminder for the contest ? Was one sent out and if so, how do you sign up for newsletters... I'm already a current registered user of the full package. 2 - you only need an image, not the actual model ? So you are trusting your users that they will s...

Re: responsive webGL export

OK... this is even more of a reason Simlab should jump on this.
The above example - a Unity export - is not supported on mobile devices. Unity webGL is not currently supported on mobile devices. So Simlab should get ahead of the game. :D

Re: responsive webGL export

I had to comb the webniverse, but I finally found an example of what I'm talking about: http://virtualplayground.d2.pl/WebGL/fullbrowser/ If you have Firefox, use Ctrl+Shift+m and view how it behaves at different responsive breakpoints. Simlab's webGL export could use settings to create something li...

responsive webGL export

I would like to see a responsive template for webGL export so that the 3D window would automatically resize according to the display device's resolution when embedded in responsive websites. Maybe an option in the template page and 3D window size settings for 100% instead of pixel dimensions.

Re: space above 3D window when using iFrame

The facial scan is from Siggraph a number of years ago. I have one of myself as well, but mine doesn't look as good as my friend's. :) I used to attend all the shows and was a presenter for a 3D company one year. I will submit a model for the "update contest" soon.

Re: space above 3D window when using iFrame

OK... I got rid of the space... but I'd still like an explanation of why it was there to begin with. :D In the beginning of the body section of the webGL html, it has: </head> <body id="bdy" style="overflow:auto;top:5%;position:absolute;padding:0;margin:0;"> I changed it to: </he...

Re: space above 3D window when using iFrame

Here's the link: http://friendlyspider.com/aks/ Of course, there's a space above the exported webGL even before embedding with an iFrame: http://friendlyspider.com/aks/aks3.html So the question is... Is there a way to eliminate the space above exported webGL ? I've tried eliminating every source of ...
