Have you tried FilterForge for making textures? It will often offer to create the diffuse, bump and normal map for the texture. If you buy it make sure ist on special offer. its often 70% off.

Thanks. It has made me really appreciate Simlab's tools for arranging objects.

The ability to mirror objects is really needed though.

Is it possible to create instances or copies of objects with mirror symmetry? If not can it be put on the request list?

I think if you cut off half the room to allow the camera to view the inside the sunlight gets in.

I checked at home this morning and simlab output settings are 2000x1000 and the file saved to my desktop is 1916x830. I have often wondered whether there should be an "apply" or "save" button for output settings.
