Re: Strange issue with Materials...

Are you running 8.2.3?

I had a similar problem until I updated to version 8.2.3 and now the icons seem to be working properly again. :)

SimLab Composer 8.2.3

Can someone please share what changes were implemented in 8.2.3? I have found the missing material icons are now showing up again but do not know what else was changed/fixed. :) It would be nice if SimLab would incorporate a way to check for updates or let existing users know that an update is avail...

Re: SimLab Composer 8.2.2

I just downloaded 8.2.3 and in my tests so far, it appears the problem was fixed. :D

I wish SimLab would notify us when new versions are available. :)

Re: Web GL issues

IMHO you have found the weakest part of the SimLab product line. I have had some sporadic problems displaying WebGL pages both from the perspective you have mentioned and I am still have problems with the lighting on some models in WebGL. The models work fine in when rendering and fairly well in VR ...

Re: Web GL issues

Well, I had some interesting results. I tried in MS Edge, IE and Chrome. I got the same results in a 3 browsers. ⋅ With link #1, I never got past the Unpacking stage in all 3 browsers. ⋅ For the 2nd link, all 3 browsers got to the Loading stage and I was able to rotate and pan th...

Re: VR Mechanical

Yep, I have played around with that a lot today and that was one of the things I learned.

Biggest problem right now is trying to define the starting position. I do not like the current starting position and have not figured out to to adjust/control it.

Re: VR Desktop Viewer/Showroom - Windows 10

I have some more suggestions as well: ⋅ Provide a way to open the app/viewer in full screen mode (yes -this is the same thing - just compiling a complete list). ⋅ Provide a way to sort/arrange the models in the left hand column ⋅ Allow the left hand navigation panel to ...

VR Desktop Viewer/Showroom - Windows 10

Is there a way to expand the Showroom & Viewer to fill the entire screen? I am thinking about something like a convention environment or showroom with a large screen where you would want to fill and entire screen with the showroom. Also, just out of curiosity, can you use the showroom/desktop vi...

Re: VR Mechanical

I have made some progress with the Mechanical VR so that I am getting MUCH more acceptable appearance of my model in the Desktop Viewer. However, I still have not figured out how to control the starting position with the Mechanical version. Can someone give me some hints? :? Right now I am using the...

Re: Create & Save custom materials

OK - I had a Library created but was messing up how to create a new material. Got it now.

I will have a look at FilterForge. I do have Xara Graphics so I should also look at creating some bump maps there as well.

Thanks for the feedback/reply.
