Re: SimLab Composer 8.2 alpha

I needed to report that I used SketchUp 2018 to creature a model and I successfully created a sim file and was able to render it. However when I tried to save the render to a file I got an error message about the file type again. Will try to repeat the process again tomorrow and post a screen captur...

Re: SimLab Composer 8.2 alpha

Hey.. Since you have an ISP, most of them give you some servers space allocation.. I use mine all the time.. You just need the address to set it up and a FTP app and you are away.. Phone and ask them.. To view your WebGL locally, I am sure Firefox is able to do that or you can download the krpano t...

Re: WebGL - Any interest?

That is very encouraging. Thanks a bunch for the response. If you need any help in testing, I certainly willing to help.

I also have some things I would like to suggest when the time is right. :)

Re: SimLab Composer 8.2 alpha

I can verify that SketchUp 2018 files are now supported. I was able to recreate my WebGL stuff with a 2018 file. Wish I had a place to publish my WebGL page to show you how the interactivity works. Now I have to go add some animations and work on the VR stuff. I have not seen any glitches with the 8...

WebGL - Any interest?

Am I the only one who has any interest in WebGL? I notice that none of the SL Composer updates have anything related to WebGL. Since WebGL would allow you to present products on the web without the viewer having to have anything special (other than an up-to-date browser) but provides interactive cap...

Re: Win10 + Simlab 8.1.5 slows to hault multiple machines

Hi Dave, Thanks for all the help testing. More than glad to. To date, I have been concentrated on WebGL because my models do not lend themselves to VR (IMO). I would like to get there though. My biggest hang up to this point with WebGL functions has been that I would like for the WebGL pages/models...

Re: V8.2 for Christmas....????

This sounds very good. Can you share any specifics?

I hope that support for the SketchUp 2018 file will be included.

Needs to support SketchUp 2018 Pro skp files before "official" release though. :D

WebGL -files

When I export to WebGL, the _files folder that is created should be recreated instead of adding to the exiting file. So, what I mean is that is I go in and review a model and then create an updated version of the WebGL page the old _files folder should be deleted or emptied and a new one completed. ...
