Re: View limits

Hello Jeant408 This is not a fault, it is correct as your 'camera' is passing the clipping plane and cannot see anything behind this plane. If you like to think of it as passing onto the 'inside' of your object or passing into a section view you can. As an example, we model vehicle on the exterior a...

Re: Specific colors pallet ?

Hi Pilou, I just created a folder for my own materials and save the different specific colours i use there. I know its not a palette, but it does let you reuse colours and materials that are fine tuned.

Re: Create a Movie from a 3D VR scene...???

You could just use screen capture software. I would imagine that with the VR module there is no repeatability so hence it wouldn't be possible to pre-configure a recording session as you won't know how or where the VR participant is going to go.

Re: Screen Colors

Hello Bill, The icon that looks like a split circle with a diagonal split between black and white toggles the text colour so that if you're working with a dark background you can switch to white text and vice versa. Toggle.JPG This should solve it for you I think. There is also the option in file> p...

Re: Multiple 3D Space in WebGL

I think Tessla is talking about layering inside 3d pdf or web glad, so that by activating layer 1 you could move items there without disturbing items in layers 2,3 etc.

Vehicle along leafy street

Just a quick little animation showing off some of the new features in V9 - essentially ease in and ease out. I just wanted to see if I could get the vehicle movement to look natural or not. Not perfect as there's issues with ground shadows - but then each frame was only rendered to 200 spp as I wasn...

Re: Licence problem upgrade V8 to V9

looking back at the 'upgrade' page, I may not have clicked on the correct upgrade as I didn't see the dragdown box and just clicked on the upgrade @ $49 dollars box. My bad

Perhaps someone could PM me and I can pay the extra $50 dollars to get my VR licence back?

Licence problem upgrade V8 to V9

Hi Simlab/Jsaid, I have a problem with my upgrade from V8 to V9. Since upgrading from V8 VR to V9, I have lost a lot of functionality as I seem to have had my licence downgraded from VR to Pro. In particular I have lost the 360 image function which was my primary tool for producing images for custom...

Re: Ready for SimLab Composer 9?

Simlab 9 only ships with the core program, the assets (materials, library, hdrs etc) all have to be downloaded separately.
