Raised Home on Cliff Edge

I've been playing around with Simlab for about 2 weeks. It looks nice. Any tips on how to make these look better?

Is there a way to get sun beams through the windows for the interior shots?

Re: Sun settings - exterior white washed

So I did a few renderings and they turned out fine. Saved my work and closed everything. Then I came back a few hours later and started up the same model and it is completely washed out. Its like the sun has been turned up to max, but it isnt. Is this a glitch or just happening because I am using th...

Sun settings - exterior white washed

For some reason by exterior shots are looking white washed. The first one was good. Then I did some interior renders. Now Im doing an outside one and you can see its fairly bright and the trees in the background are completely white. Are my settings correct? I've moved the sun around a bit. Is is po...

Does Simlab have a landscape modifying option?

I've been playing around with the trial version this week. I really like the results.

Does Simlab have a landscape modifying option where you can create hills and gullies and rivers etc? I can do it in CAD first, but it would be good to modify it afterwards. Is there an option in the Pro version?

Re: Rendering and Movies taking a long time

I'm using the Trial version. I read that the Pro version is much faster. Is the trial version ment to be a lot slower?

Re: No internal light to 3D home

Solved this myself. I set all the internal downlights to 'emission' and set up a directional light. The renders come out out very nice.

Simlab Animation quality terrible

Im running my model and two things: * its all whitewashed and the background doesnt show. Ive set the background to a sky image. It was working but now isn't. * the exported video is very grainy and moves too fast. This movement across the back should take 15 secs but it comes out showing in 1-2 sec...

Re: Rendering Very Slow

Thanks
When I imported the model, I enlarged it to fill the grid - maybe 20x bigger. Would this affect it?

Rendering Very Slow

Im watching these videos and they seem to render very quickly. This video shows 2.5 fps. Mine images are rendering at 0.05-0.1 fps. They are taking forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQVLkMwg31k I exported my CAD from Chief Architect into a DAE file. Then converted it to a FBX file. Im using a...
