Hey there...

Your new special F/X work really well, well done.. However, probably limited use.. How about Rain or Snow.. Other VR software can do this..

Those FX were added based on requirements for mechanical training as you can see for example in the following example

Very cool...

There has been a couple of projects where I have seen reflective puddles of water.. how did you do this.. Like the wet road in Grass and now here with the water coming out and puddling on the floor..

The Grass Special F/X is kind of creepy.. Very cool though.. Still experimenting with it.. At least it works.. :D

To achieve a water puddle effect on a surface, use a plastic material and make sure you set the reflection color to white and the Eta value to a high number(i suggest nothing less than 4) then add a roughness map to the plastic material which is all black with a white portion in the shape of a puddle.
This would result of having very rough areas where the black color in the roughness map is, and a very reflective area where the white parts are, mimicking the appearance of a puddle or a wet floor.
