Working through the animator, it would appear that there is a memory release issue as the memory required increases as the number of frames rendered increases.

If I render an animation, I will run out of memory at a certain number of frames (usually around 300 regardless of render dimensions).

As effectively each frame is a new render, would it not be possible to clear the buffer before rendering the next frame and thus avoid the memory hogging issues?

@Pocc,

We're investigating the issue. If confirmed, then we'll work on a fix. For now, can you provide us with specifications (RAM, OS, CPU, GPU, etc.) of your machine?

Thank you in advance

Of course Jsaid,

Windows 10 64 bit, i5-4460, 32gb ram, nvidia Quadro K620, 256gb SSd. If you want more info I can PM you the DXdiag file.

I watched it rendering yesterday, each frame of a 720x480 animation took up an extra 40mb of committed memory until it ran out of memory and crashed.

@Pocc,

We really appreciate your feedback. But there is one more thing to do, if there is a chance to provide us with the file that causes you the problem (just if you can). Because it depends on the scene itself (e.g. Number of textures, etc.)

Best regards

SimLab AR/VR viewer was updated for Android devices, iOS update it coming soon.

The update viewer can be installed from Google play

Many great things were done in this new release.

2 new view modes were added

360 Image: this is a general support for panorama image generated from SimLab Composer or any other application or camera, 360 images can be viewed as 3D or VR

360 Grid support: the new 360 Grid technology in SimLab Composer 9 is now supported in the mobile viewer.

Check the following video showing how to use 360 Grid with SimLab AR/VR viewer.
