Open vrpackage in Simlab Viewer (Android)

Post by Alex » Thu Dec 06, 2018 4:13 pm

Hello Simlab team,

I exported a VR Scene from Simlab Composer 9.0.10 as a .vrpackage.
Once the VR Viewer on my S7 is open, I find the designated file within the folder view, but i cannot open it.

Do you have any suggestions?
Filesize: 307Mbyte is it just too big?
Smartphone Samsung S7 with Android 8.0 and newest Simlab VR Viewer.

By the way, it is great that Simlab has a 3D Game-Like Experience besided the traditional rendering.
Tomorrow I want to show our salesman a new concept for our booth next year. :D

Best regards

I do have the same problem.
desktop Composer 9.0.10 windows 64 bit
simlab ar/vr viewer version 3.0 last update from 20.6.18 downloaded today 12.12.18 for
android yotaphone 2.0 android 6.0.1

model package test.vrpackage 1,5 MB

import for the vrpackage file using ar/vr viewer is not possible on the smartphone.
The package file could not be selected.

PS: this is a great pity, because for us this would be the only reason to buy the composer

Unfortunately SimlabVRViewer application doesn't support uploading files from internal file manager for device ,so you can add any .vrpackage to it by 2 ways :

1- Install File manager from app store which allows you to handle all your files whether they are stored in your device's memory, micro SD card, local area network, and cloud storage accounts.
2- Upload your package on Dropbox/google drive .

Then, when you press adding a new package , choose File manager if you store it on your device and choose package that you want to add.
