Trandparent background with WebGL

Post by Tessla » Sun Jul 07, 2019 5:06 am

Hi Simlab.. I have asked for this feature before and it is possible to do by editing the code, but I do not want to keep doing that since if I make changes to the object, I have to edit the code every time.. If it is possible to achieve a transparent background by editing the code then it should not be that hard to provide that option for export. This will mean that when I add a WebGL into a VR, only the object can be seen with no background colours...

Thank you

Tesselaar..

@Tessla,

We had created a ticket for the issue and forwarded it to developers so they may work on it according to evaluation and given priorities but after the next release of SLC.

Regards

Thats great news.. I managed to achieve it by editing the code, but it's painful.. This link below was my test.. It still has a white area on open the 3D object, but that might be able to be fixed..

Thank you for adding this feature.. Well worth having for VRs...
