I do not know the software that can do it flawlessly. Each "renderma"n uses any tricks. Nobody canceled the post-processing too.

Observation. Experiment. Experience.

Same scene, same HDR. Left - not SL, right - SL

Hi Hornpipe

this is a photo of glass: https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1SfiqIXXX ... font-b.jpg

SL render looks much more realistic to me.

There is a proverb: "Every sandpiper praises its swamp". ;)
For me, it does not matter what software I use. The most important is the result.
Let's check. This is real time rendering in various software. Same models, same HDR. I will not comment it.

I've been searching for the cause of the previous result. Probably imported FBX file activates the sun lighting. It greatly hampered. Now a much more decent version. Really, cool!

By the way, I put a white screen behind scene as in photo studio. Without a screen it is not so good.

Just goes to show what a wonderful rendering software Simlab Composer can be, with some effort and skills....

Unfortunately, I have no reason to be happy. :( I discovered a serious obstacle to the visualization of textured organic. I created a new topic to discuss this problem: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=10400
