Interesting concept. I will have to explore when I can get past some of my other problems... :)

Quite eerie sight, wander through the empty city. :twisted:
It reminds me the famous cartoon from the Studio Ghibli "Spirited Away". I hope that this is also a happy ending. :D

This is because we expect the SimLab user to own the whole area.

We can add background animation, like what was done below:

But in my opinion this will distract the user from focusing on the space.

Hi
I love the recent changes to Simlab, especially the tools in the materials.

Is there going to be a place to upload scenes like SketchFab for Simlab? The Showroom suggests this but nothing uploads? Is it going to be free or a paid-for service?

@keith1961:

Yes, there is a place to upload scenes.

If you tried SimLab Showroom which came with SimLab Composer 8.1 (beta), you'll find the new upload ability.

It is free for now.

For more information about the new SimLab Showroom, please watch the following video:

Keith was the first user to add his 3D model to the showroom.

Thank you for that.

I tested your model I have a small note to improve the experience.

Do the mark ground step, this is an extra step, you select the ground objects and from visual effects menu select set ground. This is useful to enable HTC vive to enable teleportation on the scene, this was not done for the uploaded scene, that is why I could not use teleportation as shown in the following image.

If this is done the marker will be green.
