Importing VR Gallery .exe to oculus quest viewer beta?

Post by cssmythe3 » Mon Jan 20, 2020 10:33 pm

There is a ton of fucntionality of Composer here:
https://www.simlab-soft.com/SimlabArt/g ... r-gallery/

I am making a pitch to my company to buy Composer VR, and I'd like to show the items from that link in the viewer on my quest.

Is there anywhere to get them as .vrpackage files so I can import them into my quest?

Regards,
Chuck

And a followup, do any of those links have both grabbable objects as well as scripted animations?

When you click on any of those models it download the vrpacakge in %temp% folder.

So this is good news.

The bad news is that most of those were not tested with quest (quest support is new)
and they are heavy in texture, and polygon count (as created for Oculus Rift and HTC vive)

Cool! Thanks. I've also discovered with the PC viewer when you exit it, you can save your new state to a .vrpackage file instead of the exe. All is good.
