Rounded edges ?

Post by Pilou » Sun May 28, 2017 4:46 pm

Does exist inside SimLab something like
a material who has a "Rounded edges radius" parameter ( a shading effect ) ?
So no need to fillet the objects's edges before Export / Importation!

Valuable of course for rendering and not as true geometry 3D!

I agree that this would be a nice add on. I note that keyshot have it. On the model there is an option to add a 'virtual' edge break. It just makes the render look a bit more real as in reality there is no such thing as a perfectly sharp edge. Just something to think about, might be easy to do.
Loving the software, keep up the good work.
