Questions about rendering Animations

Post by gnr2019 » Thu May 16, 2019 12:17 pm

we have been using Simlab Composer 8 for a year now to create short animations from our machines.
The rendering for a 1920 x 1080px video resolution takes a very long time.
I wonder if there is any faster way to render animations with a good resolution quality.
My Computer settings:
Intel Core 15-7200U CPU @2.5GHz 2.70GHz
64 bit

Any tips would be appreciated!

I saw similar port with great answers.

First make sure to reduce SPP, unlike still images the animation will be compressed so you do not need the giht SPP you usually need for a still image.

The machine you are having is fine, i5 usually supports 4 threads, many of the avaiable and not expensive machines support 16 cores like the amd Ryzen machines, this will improve machie signficantly.

If you have access to multiple machines you can use SimLab rendering packages to distribute work on multiple machines.

We provide a service for rendering on multiple machines if you need that, in case you have a deal line without enough macihnes.
