Hi,
I am exporting a 3D PDF, and not all the materials render. I assume it is a problem where I have painted the components that have a "default" colour, and the rendering shows the "default colour rather than the material painted to them.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks,
Vivek
3D PDF not all materials render
Re: 3D PDF not all materials render
I am having the same problem as vamstastic. I am using SketchUp Make 2017 and the 3D PDF Exporter. When I export my model to PDF, no textures (or materials like concrete, landscaping, etc.) appear in the model. They appear as gray/white. If If I export a model with solid colors and textures, the solid colors appear in the 3D PDF, but again, no textures. What gives?
I attached a simple SketchUp model I tried exporting and had this problem.

Re: 3D PDF not all materials render
We will check the issue.
I just did a quick test with SimLab Composer and it was able to import the SKP file and export the 3D PDF file without an issue, so this can be a workaround until we check those models with the plugin.

Re: 3D PDF not all materials render
Hi,
I have downloaded the trial version -I am trying to render a jpg image onto a surface and print as a 3d pdf but its not working. Searching the web I found this forum.
I also downloaded the test sample above and tis does not work either - I just get a box with out the texture...
Is there some other settings?
I'd be happy to purchase if this worked....

Did you open the generated file with the free Acrobat reader?
Re: 3D PDF not all materials render
