I'm using Solidworks so no access to UV-mapping. The wrapping edge is modeled and the perforations + leather grain are done with bump and opacity maps (just box mapped in composer).hornpipe wrote:I like the wrapper on the handlebars. This part is UV mapped or did the texture simple fit well?

Would it be possible to have a material type that includes several materials on top of each other - a multilayer material? For example a clear coat carbon fiber material would have a glass material in front of a plastic material with carbon texture- and normal maps. Or a painted metal part that has ...
