Re: Where do lights work?

I have found in VR that IES lights must be set to a value of 1 or they are way too bright. Point lights for me in VR should be around 100-150 for reasonable brightness.

Re: Support for HP Reverb G2 in VR?

Thanks for trying to help.

Total texture size is shown:
TextureOptim.png

The main model poly and vertex counts are:
TexturePolysize.png
TexturePolysize.png (11.67 KiB) Viewed 71 times
TexturePolysize2.png
TexturePolysize2.png (10.33 KiB) Viewed 71 times

The environment poly and vertex counts are:
TexturePolysize3.png
TexturePolysize3.png (10.08 KiB) Viewed 71 times

Again, this works flawlessly on the Oculus Quest in Link mode.

Re: Support for HP Reverb G2 in VR?

Thanks for your reply. Of course, I do run the PC with the AC power plugged in. That is not the issue. According to HP website, the Reverb G2 has: "2160 x 2160 panel resolution per eye, 4320 x 2160 pixels combined. Supports Windows Mixed Reality/Steam VR ecosystem" All Win 10 updates and Nvidia upda...

Support for HP Reverb G2 in VR?

Hi, I just received a new HP Reverb G2, and while the visual quality is excellent, there seems to be a lot of "jitter" when I move my head side to side in a scene created with SimLab Composer 10.18. The same scene opened with my Oculus Quest using the Link cable is visually inferior (more fuzzy/lowe...

10.18 New features

Can you give a bit more detail on these 3 new features in 10.18: New camera surveillance in VR Controlling order of responses in training builder Wires What is the use case for the camera surveillance panel? I've been able to make it work, but I'm unsure what to use it for in training. What exactly ...

Re: STEP file import is not smooth

A couple of ideas: Have you tried to set the slider on the import dialog closer (or all the way) to Fine? This tesselates the model with either fewer or more polygons. It appears that the model came in with the slider all the way at Coarse. I find that a Medium setting works best. STEP Import.png If...

Re: Training Builder Glow & Unglow Responses

I may be wrong here, but also appears that you have the glow duration set to 0.0 seconds. You might try to have the duration set to say, 4.0 seconds to be sure it's working.

Re: Safety interactive VR training

This is very interesting to watch; it shows how SimLab Composer continues to make it easier to author VR training. Are there new features demonstrated in this video that are not available yet? It appears that there is new Quiz functionality, and it appears that Dock and Target are a bit different (g...

Re: VR colaboration within VR viewer

Is there any update to the roadmap of Simlab Composer 10 for doing VR Multiplayer Collaboration and Physics/Gravity? Also, in VR it would be ideal to have a way to have 2D structures (other than the current Message Boxes). Uses cases for this feature includes things like: HUDs Interactive Quizzes (u...
