16 seconds into viewing the video I realised that this must be for Windows only since Mac does not do Baked!!

Or did we assume incorrectly....???

Your assumption is not correct.

SimLab Composer currently supports texture baking on Windows only.

But this is animation baking, which should work for both Windows and Mac

Yes, the models do come into Simlab with Textures. We looked at Mixamo years ago.. Does not seems to have changed much.. It seemed very cool but we did not have any software to use with it.. We thought only use with Unity perhaps..

We are very impressed that finally we can get 3D animations characters working in Simlab Composer.. We had a few issues in the beginning.. It would not animate when we opened the VR but then it worked.. We set the character to work on open.. Now we have a use for those Mixamo pre rigged animated characters, which opens up a whole new world for fun..

I really wish schools could see that Simlab Composer is a great software to engage the disengaged student.. and also teach real world software skills.. We can only hope in time Education sees the real value in all this.. Now we have a Windows laptop, we might try to invest in a VR Headset.. Even if our little Laptop cannot make the media, we should still be able to view it...

Really, well done!!
