Simlab Composer 7 rendering test

Post by zenox3d » Tue May 24, 2016 4:47 pm

Yesterday I've tried to render one of my 3d models with new Simlab Composer 7 version. It took me more then 3 hours with resolution 3100x2200 to get super quality or 2000 spp, with one core excluded.I've tried with hdr images and sky,but for me using area lights is the best solution for creating renderings I like.My 3d model was exported with lower subdivisions obj file,so you can see polygonal shapes in some areas on my rendered image.Today I'm planning to render same 3d model with 3 subdivisions, but I can't do it yet, cause thunderstorms are approaching,so I will wait for better weather conditions to render my final hires image.Until then enjoy my test render.
